From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

The Faculty of Science at 91µÎµÎ has many student-led groups that provide different types of science education to the Montreal community and beyond. Outreach gives 91µÎµÎ students opportunities for enriched, hands-on learning that combines formal studies with science communication and community engagement. Outreach helps communities connect with students and researchers, and discover what they do through events, public lectures, workshops, exhibitions, podcasts and more.

The Gault Nature Reserve

91µÎµÎ’s Gault Nature Reserve is a private reserve that protects nearly 1000 hectares of natural environment. Situated at Mont Saint-Hilaire, approximately 40 km from Montreal, this panoramic natural landscape is ideal for viewing the last great vestiges of old-growth forests in the St. Lawrence Valley. With its 25 km of trail network, it is open 365 days a year for the enjoyment of visitors.The Gault Nature Reserve team also offers support for natural science research and teaching while providing a wide range of services to the university community and the general public

The Redpath Museum

The Redpath Museum is an independent unit of the Faculty of Science at 91µÎµÎ. Its mission is to foster an understanding and appreciation of the diversity of our biological, geological and cultural heritage through scientific research, collections study and education. Built in 1882 by Canada's foremost Victorian naturalist, Sir William Dawson, it has its own faculty and offers courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as a minor in natural history.
