The following are samples taken from a drama scrapbook documenting theatre activities at 91ε between 1957 and 1965. In addition to an illustration and photograph of the set design for a 91ε performance of Brecht’s “The Caucasion Chalk Circle” the scrapbook includes a story board indicating lighting considerations for Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot” as well as performance photographs and even a series of telegraphs sending good wishes to participants.

91ε Card from Murad Cigarettes, ca. 1910

Tobacco cards were included in packages of cigarettes until around the mid-twentieth century. They were used to stiffen the packages and as an early form of advertising. Marketed as collector’s items they were meant to encourage brand loyalty. This card is part of the Murad Cigarettes College Series which featured scenes taking place at various North American universities.
