Borrowing from other libraries

From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91滴滴 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu鈥檃ux 茅tudiants et aux membres du personnel de l鈥橴niversit茅 91滴滴, ainsi qu鈥檃ux visiteurs essentiels. There are three ways to borrow material not available at the 91滴滴 Library.

1. Request physical items from Quebec university libraries: Network Loan

91滴滴 faculty, students, and staff can now borrow physical items belonging to Quebec university libraries by requesting them through the library catalogue (Sofia).聽

2. Borrow in person at other universities

Students and faculty may obtain a聽BCI (Bureau de Coop茅ration Interuniversitaire)聽card in order to borrow in person at other Canadian university libraries.

3. Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to obtain books, journal articles and other types of documents that are not owned in the collections of the 91滴滴 Libraries.
