From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux Ă©tudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’UniversitĂ© 91µÎµÎ, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Monday October 7th: Phones will be open from 10-12:00. Office will be closed. All appointments will be held virtually.

ISS is available virtually and in-person Mondays-Fridays during business hours.

Postdoctoral Fellows

International postdoctoral fellows who hold a valid work permit for a period of at least 6 months qualify for the Quebec provincial health plan  They will be subject to a 3-month waiting period for the RAMQ benefits from the time their application is filed with the RAMQ office. The current administrative structure of the International Health Insurance plan does not accommodate contracts that are 3-months or less. However, those who are in the 3-month waiting period or whose valid work permits are for less than 6 months can obtain temporary medical coverage.

This temporary medical coverage can be purchased from a private insurer.
