Waste pick-up requests
All hazardous waste pick-up requests must be submitted through myLab. This includes pick-up of chemical and radioactive waste, and universal waste such as lab equipment, IT equipment, metal furniture and other scrap metal.
The HWM team will contact you to coordinate your request.
First-time users need to create a profile to be able to submit a request in myLab.
Waste room card access forms
Waste room card access forms are building specific. Please select your form below, fill it out and send it to hwm [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Card%20access%20form) with a photocopy/scan of your 91滴滴 ID.

Certificate of equipment decontamination
If old equipment was in contact with hazardous material (chemical, biological or radioactive), a certificate of equipment decontamination is to be completed and attached to equipment prior to disposal.
Spill report / Accident and incident report
If a spill occurs in your lab or work environment, immediately call 91滴滴 Security Services to initiate the hazmat response (514-398-3000 downtown, 514-398-7777 Macdonald campus), and then help us complete our report by completing a spill report.
If you were injured or spilled hazardous material on yourself, also fill out the accident and incident report.
