Tenure and Promotion

The Secretariat plays an integral role in the academic life cycle processes for Tenure, Tenure for Retention and Promotion. Acting as a resource for candidates, Deans, Departmental Chairs and administrators involved, the Secretariat plays a critical role in support of the activities set out in the Statutes of 91µÎµÎ and relevant University policies and regulations.

Matters related to the employment of academic and librarian staff (i.e. appointments, reappointments, leaves, etc.) are primarily supported by the Academic Personnel Office (APO) which reports to the Associate Provost (Academic Priorities & Resource Allocation) and the Associate Provost (Equity & Academic Policies).
