From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91滴滴 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Ongoing Activities

91滴滴

Procurement Services actively implements Sustainable Procurement through the following activities
  • Ongoing development and use of social and environmental clauses in its calls for tenders.
  • Promotion of acquisition from diverse suppliers including Indigenous suppliers and Social Economy businesses.
  • Continuous training of its buyers and frontline team.
  • Collaboration with faculty members to develop and carry out applied student research projects.
  • Delivering training to community members through Organizational Development.
  • Contribute to standards development (relevant NSF and ISO standards).
  • Use and promotion of its Supplier Code of Conduct, and monitoring of supplier compliance with the principles contained therein.
  • Collaborate in Canada-wide pan-institutional sustainable procurement initiatives.
  • Proactive participation in developing sustainability content for province-wide group purchases.
  • Support capacity building at other institutions through talks, webinars, and workshops.
