Why participate in SciLearn Orientation workshops?

Learn How the Brain WorksĚý
Under the guidance of our neuroscientist-facilitators, you'll learn how neuroscience underlies and motivates a variety of approaches to learning. For example, we show you how you can hack your brain by understanding the basics of memory and retrieval practice.

Equip Yourself with Practical Strategies
Choose from a suite of handpicked strategies to build your learning toolkit! You'll learn the fundamentals of "atomic habits" and identify strategies that might work for you. Retrieval practice, note-taking, and napping are a few examples!

Be Recognized for Learning
When you attend an open Orientation session, your participation will be recognized on your Co-Curricular Record. When you attend a course-based Orientation session, you will be eligible to receive a course grade or bonus percentage. (More information will be shared by your course instructor!)
