From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Hiring Steps

Follow these guidelines when posting a job:

  • Help students appreciate the skills they'll both contribute and gain from the role
  • Provide an accurate and detailed description of functions, responsibilities, hours, duration, etc. Verify this description with your HR Advisor, if required
  • Include required qualifications
  • Describe the application process and deadline
  • Respect the posting and hiring process indicated in the collective agreement if it's a unionized position. For example, you must use the corresponding generic job profile/title, and pay scale for AMUSE jobs, which can be referenced here

There are numerous places to post when you are recruiting students searching for work:

  • Work Study is a program that provides a subsidy incentive for 91µÎµÎ student jobs to prioritize the hiring of students in financial need

During the interview:
