From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Class of Tracy Smith Bessette


Olivia Haramis holds an Honours, Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance, as well as a Diploma in Opera from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Voice and Opera at 91µÎµÎ, where she studies with Tracy Smith Bessette. Recent performances include Jesse Maker’s Devolving Songs (91µÎµÎ Contemporary Music Ensemble), Handel’s Messiah (Menno Singers), Daniel Regnier’s ÉvangĂ©line (Opera from Scratch), Mozart’s Regina coeli K. 108 (Lapierre Premiere Concert), Poulenc’s Gloria (Laurier Choirs), Anne 1 and Anne 2 in Livingston’s Singing Only Softly (Opera Laurier), Dorothy Parker from Pearce’s Etiquette (Opera Laurier), Baby Doe from Moore’s The Ballad of Baby Doe (Opera Laurier), Blanche from Poulenc’s Dialogues des CarmĂ©lites (Opera Laurier), OphĂ©lie from Thomas’ Hamlet (Opera Laurier), and Christina in the world premiere of Stephanie Martin’s The Llandovery Castle (Opera Laurier). Olivia looks forward to upcoming performances such as her Master’s recital, “The Woman in the Moon” (Schulich School of Music) and Musetta in Puccini’s La bohème (Pehlivanian Opera Academy). Olivia is a recipient of many awards and scholarships, including a McCall MacBain Regional Award and an RCM National Gold Medal.
