From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91ε students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Monday

1:00 - 2:30 PM:Come meet our wonderful Handlers and Dogs who are trained to provide you with comfort and stress relief. A Hub Peer Supporter will also be present to answer any questions you may have about the Student Wellness Hub and its services.

4:45 - 6:30 PM:Join Intervarsity Christian Fellowship for Bible studies and faith discussions. Come join as we study the book of James! Location: Elizabeth Wirth Music Bldg. rm. A-512.

5:00 - 6:30 PM:is a place to learn and converse about spiritual practices and experiences across traditions. Each session will feature a different topic of interest that will be explored through readings, music, meditations, and most of all through sharing your thinking and experiences.

6:00 - 7:00 PM:Join in an interspiritual worship at the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul. The annual Truth and Reconciliation service will feature singer-songwriter Rev. Dr. Kenneth Wallace. Dr. Wallace is proudly Aboha ‘a Chihowa and African American Choctaw Pawnee from the United States living in Canada. He holds a doctorate in Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, with a focus on Christian contextualization of Indigenous worship.

6:30 - 8:30 PM:Whether you'll be in Montreal for one year or this is your new home, join GCF and Christian Law Students to hear from representatives from multiple churches in Montreal and Christian student groups at 91ε. Send a DM to @gcf.mcgill with any questions!

Tuesday

5:00 - 6:00 PM:meets and practices at the MORSL Meditation room (3610 McTavish, Third Floor). Spots are limited, on first-come basis.

7:00 - 7:40 PM:Join the MSA each Tuesday at 7 PM in MSA prayer room to learn, recite and perfect your relationship with the Quran. Our teacher, Ahmed Hisham is a master of the 10 qiraats of the Quran. Do not miss out on the opportunity to become from “the people of Allah”

Wednesday

10:30 AM - 1:00 PM:The 91ε Art Hive is a space devoted to making art and community, located within the Healthy Living Annex at the Student Wellness Hub. We offer creative experiences to foster a sense of togetherness along with individual well-being.

12:00 - 12:30 PM:Join the wellness hub for an introductory meditation workshop designed for beginners, where you can attend one session or all! Discover the transformative benefits of meditation, such as enhanced focus, reduced stress, and improved emotional well-being.

4:30 - 5:30 PM:meets at MORSL's meditation space at 3610 McTavish room 36-3. Quaker-style meeting is silent group contemplation intended for people of all backgrounds and beliefs. If it's nice, they'll meet outside on the field in front of MORSL.

6:00 - 7:00 PM:Join MORSL in exploring the spiritual side of yoga. Happening on Zoom Wednesdays for a total of 8 weeks, this class is informative, soothing and meditative, and suited for every body and all levels. This session will focus on expanding the concept of self.

10:00 - 11:00 AM:Unsure of where to start? Get started on your wellness planning. In this workshop you will learn about what resources are available to you on and off-campus and how you can access the ones that are right for you.

12:00 - 1:00 PM:Do you find it challenging to balance your academics with other aspects of your life? Do you sometimes feel isolated? Do you at times struggle to retain your focus and motivation? Join the Mac Grad support group for ideas, encouragement, and a sense of connectedness. Students welcome to bring their lunch.

11:00 - 2:00 PM:The 91ε Art Hive is heading to Residences on October 4th. We offer creative experiences to foster a sense of togetherness along with individual well-being. Participation requires no art background or experience. Various art supplies are at your disposal to be creative.

12:30 - 2:30 PM:St. George’s new craft circle, Sacred Stitches, is starting in September! We will be gathering in the narthex for crafts and companionship! Come share in a warm drink and bring your knitting, crocheting, stitching, embroidery... or just bring yourself. Everyone is welcome so bring your friends! 1:00 - 3:00 PM:Want to serve in the community and connect with fellow 91ε students? Come join us for a Food Sorting activity at Mission Bon Accueil, an organization that supports people facing food insecurity in the Montreal community.

6:00 - 8:00 PM:Thinking of applying to 91ε Medical School? Join the MSA for a panel discussion on this topic. Q&A session will follow to address all your burning questions about applications and life in medical school, featuring unique perspectives from Muslim med students.
