From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

1. What was your area of study (Atmospheric or Oceanic sciences)? Could you describe in a line or two your research/ area of interest while you were studying at 91µÎµÎ?

Oceanic sciences. My research was on ocean circulation and its response to climate change. More precisely, I investigated the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation representation and its response to a CO2 increase in a climate model suite in which models vary only by their ocean horizontal resolution.

2. Looking back, what do you value most about your studies at Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences at 91µÎµÎ?

The exceptional mentorship I received from my advisors, the opportunities to present my work at numerous conferences, and my internship at Environment and Climate Change Canada.

3. How are you applying your degree in Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences from 91µÎµÎ?

As a research associate, I collaborate in many research projects in which I use my knowledge about the ocean and my programming skills to explore datasets.

4. What advice would you give to someone considering graduate studies in Atmospheric or Oceanic Sciences at 91µÎµÎ?
