Career Planning Advice
Access to Career Planning Services: Access to our Career Planning Services is exclusively for currently enrolled students in the MDCM program.听Please see听Access to Services听to see the access for all UGME students听to the Office of Medical Learner Affairs services.
Maximum Number of Appointments: Students are limited to a maximum of three (3) career planning appointments per academic year. These services consist of any of the following tasks:
- Career Planning
- CV & Letter Review: two (2) documents maximum
- Interview Preparation
How Our Appointments Work
- Virtual Career Planning: Available 14 days in advance. Appointments will be assigned to one of our Career Advisors by the Booking system. Please be aware that evening appointments are reserved exclusively for Med 3-4 students.
- Virtual Follow-up: Available 14 days in advance. These appointments are available if the student wants to follow up with a specific Career Advisor. Please be aware that evening appointments are reserved exclusively for Med 3-4 students.
- In-Person Career Planning:听Available 14 days in advance. Appointments will be booked with the Career Advisor at your campus.
- Semi-Urgent Virtual:听Available three (3) days in advance. These appointments aim to answer questions that do not require a longer appointment. These appointments are not included in the maximum number of appointments per year.
Appointment Cancellation:听A minimum of 24 hours鈥� notice is appreciated for cancellations whenever possible.
