The E-IDEA Summer Internship Program was launched in 2023 through the generous support of 脡nergir. This program provides opportunities for students to learn about equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives in Higher Education, lead both independent and collaborative projects, and develop core professional skills including inclusive teamwork and leadership behaviours.
Interns work together with specialists in pedagogy, community engagement, strategy, and change management to make a positive impact on the Faculty of Engineering and STEM communities. Interns may also have an opportunity to engage with peers and industry representatives during a student showcase hosted in the Fall semester.
