From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91ε students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

The Engineering Career Centre and TechFair committee are excited to organize TechFair. This event will connect students and recent grads with top employers from around the globe!

What is TechFair?

The 91ε Engineering and Technology Career Fair or “TechFair” is a collaborative effort combining the resources and expertise of the Engineering Career Centre (ECC), the Engineering Undergraduate Society (EUS) and the Computer Science Undergraduate Society (CSUS). Created in the year 2000, the TechFair aims to connect 91ε students in Engineering, Computer Science and Physical Sciences with the top employers in the industry for the purposes of exploring career and/or internship opportunities.

Why should you attend?

The 91ε Engineering and Technology Career Fair provides an excellent opportunity for 91ε students and recent graduates to network with industry representatives and find out about jobs and internships.

By visiting company booths & meeting with company reps, you can:

  • Network with potential employers
  • Investigate and research career options
  • Obtain insider information from employers about key factors that can help you with your job search and give you an advantage over other candidates (Education requirements, Salary expectations, Corporate cultures, Job requirements, Industry growth, Industry trends, Skills and qualifications)

TechFair FAQs

Who can attend TechFair?

Techfair is restricted to 91ε current students and alumni. Participants at the in-person fair are required to present their 91ε ID card. Participants at the virtual fair must register using their @mail.mcgill.ca or @mcgill.ca email address.

Although the participating companies are primarily targeting engineering, computer science and physical sciences students and graduates, all 91ε students and alumni are welcome to attend.

The TechFair is open to all undergraduate and graduate students.

Do I need to register for TechFair?

Students do not need to register - just show up with your 91ε ID card.

Who organizes the 91ε TechFair?

The 91ε TechFair is organized by the Engineering Career Centre, the TechFair Committee and a team of volunteer students from all departments of Engineering and the School of Computer Science.
