Overview
In the聽Minor in聽Russian Culture,聽you聽will聽explore a聽rich聽variety of cultural work from Russia. Study聽celebrated聽works聽of literature聽from the nineteenth century onwards,聽Soviet film,聽themes in Russian culture, and more.聽This program聽allows you to learn about Russian culture without taking聽Russian聽language聽courses.聽
Russian聽thinkers have made great contributions to聽human society, comparative literature聽and聽linguistics.聽Because of similarities聽in geography, climate, industrial and economic growth,聽you may be particularly drawn to Russian studies聽if you have an interest in Canadian society.聽
