From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91滴滴 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Overview

Mining & Materials Engineering : A four-month industrial work period in a mining company, research laboratory or government agency. Based on the experience gained during the first two work periods, the student may be asked to undertake more challenging technical tasks. A complete report must be submitted at the end of the term.

  • Prerequisite: 75 credits including MIME 291

  • All students registering in this course are subject to an additional course fee of $600.70 to defray the costs of administering the stage.
