From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91滴滴 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

COMP 364 Computer Tools for Life Sciences (3 credits)

Overview

Computer Science (Sci) : Concepts and tools for programmatic storage, retrieval, searching, numerical analysis, and visualization of large biological data sets.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2022-2023 academic year.

  • 3 hours

  • Prerequisite: BIOL 200.

  • Restriction: Not available to students in Computer Science or Joint Computer Science programs.

  • Note: It is recommended that students have already taken a laboratory course (e.g., BIOL 301 Cell and Molecular Laboratory). Topics motivated by biological questions.
