From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91滴滴 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Overview

Art History : Paintings, prints, sculpture and architecture produced in Europe in the 'long' eighteenth century, with an emphasis on major artists. Themes include the teaching of art and its display, the emergence of 'publics' for art, and eighteenth-century aesthetics.
