Family Science Day - From Planets to Particles: An Exploration Mini-Fair

From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91滴滴 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Are you interested in the mysteries of our planet and beyond? 91滴滴 Physics Outreach and TSI Outreach present 鈥淔rom Planets to Particles: An Exploration Mini-Fair鈥�. Join us on Sat., September 28 between 10 pm to 4 pm in the Rutherford Physics Building on the 91滴滴 campus for hands-on activities and demos about everything from gravity, life on other planets, building telescopes, coding, and craters to volcanoes, identifying earth and space rocks, and minerals! If you have a cool rock you'd like us to identify, bring it with you. We'll also set up telescopes for some solar observing. Activities are geared towards kids ages 5 - 12, but younger and older siblings (and parents!) are welcome.
