Presentation by Parc Safari: Falconry is the art of hunting wild animals, for food or sport, with trained birds of prey. Falconry probably began on the Steppes of Asia BC and may be one of the oldest hunting sports in the world. In 2010 falconry was officially recognized as part of world human cultural heritage. It has evolved through ages and is now used to control pest birds and animals in urban areas, landfills, commercial buildings, and airports. Some hunters still practice traditional falconry everywhere around the globe, come and join us November 16th as we discuss the history of falconry but also it’s modern applications. Bilingual.

For all ages. Everyone welcome, no reservation necessary. In Auditorium.
