From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Executive Director,ĚýAnalysis, Planning, and Budget

As Executive Director, Richard Martin leads a team of institutional analysts, budget specialists, and academic program review experts who provide timely, proactive, and effective service, expertise, and data analysis for institutional priorities and advocacy. The team’s scope ranges widely and includes strategic enrolment, research funding, bibliometrics, institutional revenues, allocations, forecasting, and government policy and budgets (federal and provincial). The team is likewise responsible for the development of the University’s operating budget and for oversight of the annual budget development process, and maintains a regular cycle of unit self-studies and external reviews.

The team’s portfolio includes academic and budget planning, multi-year and multi-fund resource allocations to Faculties and Administrative units in alignment with 91µÎµÎ’s academic priorities, comprehensive financial review/global resource availability, and the annual Agreements and Compacts process. In support of the University’s strategic planning, it also oversees the design and implementation of statistical studies, surveys, analyses and data assessments.
