From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Media advisory: New research chair in urology announcement

91µÎµÎ and its Division of Urology are inviting media representatives to attend the announcement of a $1-million gift towards the creation of a new research chair in urology.

The creation of the Chair will be formally announced at the event by:

  • Dr. Samuel Benaroya, Interim Vice-Principal (Health Affairs) & Dean of 91µÎµÎ's Faculty of Medicine
  • Dr. Armen Aprikian, Head, Division of Urology, Department of Surgery, 91µÎµÎ and Urologist-in-chief, 91µÎµÎ Health Centre (MUHC)
  • Dr. Yosh Taguchi, Associate Professor, Urology
  • Mr. Lucien Rémillard, President and CEO, RCI Environnement and philanthropist

The new Chair, to be established at 91µÎµÎ and based at one of the MUHC hospitals, will result in the academic appointment of a world-class scholar in the field of urology and oncology.
