From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91ε students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Biography: 

Dr. Chartrand is an Associate Professor and Vice-Chairman of the 91ε Department of Anesthesia. Over the years, he has sat on many patient-safety committees (Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society, Canadian Patient Safety Institute, Quebec Ministry of Health, MUHC). He serves as co-Chair of the FMSQ Patient Safety Committee. To promote patient safety, he has also been involved with several ongoing professional development initiatives at 91ε, the FMSQ and the RCPSC (ASPIRE program). At The Neuro, he is primarily providing anesthesia care in the operating room. He also collaborates on some basic research projects conducted by his colleagues.
