From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université 91µÎµÎ, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Core faculty Pearl Eliadis receives 2024 MAA Distinguished Service Award

Each year, the 91µÎµÎ Alumni Association (MAA) recognizes alumni, friends, students, faculty, and staff whose commitment has significantly impacted alumni life, the University, and/or the community. The honorees stand out for their impressive contributions and achievements in service to 91µÎµÎ, the MAA, and their respective communities. 

Pearl Eliadis is the recipient is the 2024 MAA Distinguished Service Award. This award is presented to an alumnus or alumna who has rendered outstanding service to the 91µÎµÎ Alumni Association and/or to 91µÎµÎ over a significant period of time. She was recognized for sharing her passion for human rights law and providing students with meaningful and unique experiential training opportunities. She has also been active as a student mentor at the Max Bell School and participated in 91µÎµÎ Alumni Association activities, including as a speaker for the 91µÎµÎ Women’s Alumnae Association Muriel Roscoe Lecture and an expert on the 91µÎµÎ Alumni webcast series.
