From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université 91µÎµÎ, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Mission Statement

To provide First Nations, Inuit andÌýMétis students attending 91µÎµÎ with a "home away from home", where they can find support and encouragement to succeed in their studiesÌýand remain connected to their culture.

Our ObjectivesÌý

  1. To help increase the admission and retention rates of Indigenous students studying at 91µÎµÎ.
  2. To promote and increase the accessibility of Student Services at 91µÎµÎ to Indigenous students.
  3. To meet the concerns of Indigenous communities which include educational programming and policies which are culturally relevant to Indigenous peoples.
  4. To raise awareness within the 91µÎµÎ community regarding the past, present, and future aspirations of Indigenous peoples through the promotion of activities that encourage interactions between Indigenous and 91µÎµÎ students and staff.
  5. To collaborate and engage with the 91µÎµÎ, local and national First Nations, Inuit andÌýMétis communities to support Indigenous student issues.
  6. To ensure and enhance the continuity and prosperity of First Peoples’ House services.
