Purpose 鈥� This paper aims to present an interview of a senior scholar to get their perspectives on the field, its history and future. Design/methodology/approach 鈥� A semi-structured in-depth interview was conducted. Findings 鈥� It is one person鈥檚 person views, albeit, a person with very considerable success in the field of business studies. Originality/value 鈥� The interview reflects the changes in business schools over the interviewee鈥檚 decades of experience.聽
