From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

RI-MUHC research on sex and gender considerations in transplant research portrayed on cover of Transplantation

Congratulations toÌýÌýand co-authors from the Research Institute of the 91µÎµÎ Health Centre (RI-MUHC) and University of Alberta, whose infographic figure was selected for the September 2019 cover of the journal Transplantation!

Their scoping review in this issue concludes that, despite a growing awareness of the need to integrate sex and gender in health research, education is required to ensure accurate and meaningful consideration of these concepts. The authors outline strategies for integrating sex and gender in allotransplantation and donation research during study design and analysis.

Co-authors from the RI-MUHC include Drs.ÌýÌý²¹²Ô»åÌý, as well as research trainees Tida Marenah, Cassandra Crimi, Dr. Katherine Cole, and Vikas Srinivasan Sridhar. Dr. Lori West, from the University of Alberta, is director of theÌý.
