From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Nicholas Kasirer to be the next Dean of Law

Principal Munroe-Blum and Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic) Luc Vinet are pleased to announce that at its meeting on September 8, 2003, the Board of Governors approved the appointment of Nicholas Kasirer as Dean of the Faculty of Law for a five-year term beginning November 1, 2003 and ending October 31, 2008.

Nicholas Kasirer, a James 91µÎµÎ professor, joined 91µÎµÎ's Faculty of Law in 1989 and is currently Director of the Quebec Research Centre for Private and Comparative Law. Renowned for his involvement in the Quebec, Canadian and international legal and scholarly communities, Professor Kasirer has focused on law and language and on family property law.
