From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 91µÎµÎ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

The Canadian Geotechnical Society recognized Professor Mohamed Meguid of the Department of Civil Engineering by presenting him with the “2022 Geosynthetics Award”

The Canadian Geotechnical Society recognized Professor Mohamed Meguid of the Department of Civil Engineering by presenting him with the “2022 Geosynthetics Award”.  This prestigious award is presented biannually by the Society for outstanding publications in the application of geosynthetics to civil, geotechnical or geoenvironemental engineering. The Awards Ceremony took place October 5th during the 75th Canadian Geotechnical Conference in Calgary.

The Canadian Geotechnical Society is the leading organization for geotechnical engineers and related geoscience in Canada and is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and the creation of opportunities to exchange information among individuals from academia, consulting, government, industry, contractors, and various providers of geotechnical-related products and services.
